There are vacancies on Kennington Parish Council for three Councillors to serve for four years until May 2023, as there were insufficient nominations for the May elections. The three vacancies will be filled by co-option at the next Parish Council meeting on 13 June 2019.
If you are: Aged 18 or over, on the electoral roll, citizen of UK, Commonwealth, EU or Ireland and resident in or within 3 miles of the parish or own land or work in the parish (for at least 12 months) you are eligible to be co-opted.
If you are:
Able to attend regular evening meetings
Interested in local issues, preferably not just a single issue
An understanding and willingness to represent the views of the whole community
An interest in being an effective councillor
