The patient participation group (PPG) is a group of patients who are registered at Botley Medical Centre; this includes patients who live in Kennington and the areas around Botley and Kennington.
We act as a conduit or link between the medical centre and patients, we also help with surveys of patients views of the service and we have organised health talks.
We try to support the practice with regular meetings which everyone is invited to attend and they are usually attended by the practice manager and at least one doctor.
Look out for the next meeting which is usually agreed at the end of each meeting so should be at the bottom of the minutes.
The meetings are open to anyone, but it is not a ‘moaning session’. We try and offer constructive comments to be proactive and support the changes and developments, however when needed we also flag up issues of concern that have come to our attention.
