Kennington Parish Council would like to know your views on the ‘wild’ verges.
The Parish Council, working with the newly-formed group, Wild about Kennington, agreed to a pilot project to change the mowing regime of grass verges for the benefit of wildlife. This was to allow wildflowers to flourish, which would improve chances for bees, butterflies, insect and bird life.
We are running a consultation to help decide whether the ‘wild verge’ project should continue.
