The Annual Parish Council meeting took place in May, and Colin Charlett and Alan Cobb will continue their positions as Chairman and Vice-Chairman, respectively. The council thanks the councillors who have stepped down for their time and commitment they have given over the years they have been members.
Parish Council Vacancies
Due to insufficient nominations in the May elections, there are three vacancies on the council. If you would like to apply to become a member of Kennington Parish Council, please send an expression of interest to the clerk by 12th June.
Community Litter Pick
Thank you again to everyone who helped with the litter pick at the end of April. Some residents have said that they were unaware of the date, so please let me know if you would like to get involved in a future litter pick.
Grants
The parish council awarded a grant of £100 to Enrych Oxfordshire towards their work with adults with a physical disability.

It’s time again to update our emergency plan – this document contains details of what would happen in the case of a local emergency, such as flooding or severe weather; a major power outage or a major disaster on A34. If you are willing to be included in this, for example, as a driver of a 4×4 vehicle; owner of a generator or first aider, please get in touch.
