The Parish Council has just been informed by Oxfordshire County Council that unfortunately, the resurfacing of Sandford Lane was not fully completed last week due to a mechanical breakdown and plant issues on site.
The carriageway has currently been resurfaced between the Kennington Road and the Railway bridge, although the scheme did also include the section past the railway bridge to the end of the industrial estate. To complete the scheduled work, a team will be returning for a single additional overnight shift on Monday 20th July; 20:00 – 06:00Hrs to complete the remaining section. An emergency TTRN has been put in place to cover this – below.
