The council has just received this from south and Vale District Councils:
Our crews are continuing to catch up on the waste and recycling collections which have been delayed due to the flooding.
We’re still experiencing delays with collections in some areas, particularly where flooding remains an issue, so we’re asking residents to please continue to leave their bins out and our crews will aim to return to them as soon as possible, where it is safe to do so.
If someone’s bins haven’t been emptied after three days they should contact 03000 610 610.
