Friends of Kennington Library (FOKL)
Kennington is a community library, which means that both financial and volunteer support of FOKL is essential to maintain the services provided by Oxfordshire County Council library staff. FOKL, which is a registered charity, number 1179939, works to keep the library thriving in line with our motto, “Keeping our library open for all to enjoy”.
FOKL contributes towards library staff salaries and organises volunteers to assist the professional staff. We organise and fund events for adults and children, such as monthly Coffee Talks, Language Café, Rhymetime and Story and Craft sessions.
You can help FOKL in its vital work by becoming a member; our annual subscription starts
from £5 per adult. Enquire at the library or visit our web site.
For details of all of FOKL’s activities and events and to join FOKL visit our website http://www.friendsofkenningtonlibrary.org.uk/ or follow us on Facebook https://facebook.com/friendsofkenningtonlibrary/.
