It is with regret that the parish council has had to remove the swings from the play area at Forest Side, this is due to severe rotting of one of the wooden posts. This will hopefully be replaced in the near future, when the swings will be there again for children to enjoy themselves.
There are plans to completely revamp this play area, so although the council is reluctant to spend money on old and tired play equipment, the council obviously must be mindful of safety, which must come first.
