OX Place, Oxford City Council’s housing company, are bringing forward proposals for new homes and public open space on the former landfill site opposite Redbridge Park & Ride, outside Kennington parish but not too far away the boundary. SP Broadway are assisting OX Place with communications regarding these proposals.
Following a first public exhibition of initial proposals for the site in October 2024, a second exhibition will be held later this month to show the latest proposals for the site, on Wednesday 23rd and Thursday 24th September at St. Luke’s Church, Canning Crescent (4pm to 8pm on both days). An invitation letter was posted late last week to just over 2,000 addresses within a 1km radius of the site (including a number of addresses in Kennington parish) and should arrive with residents shortly. The exhibition material will also be available to view online at www.redbridgeoxford.co.uk from 4pm on Wednesday 23rd September.
