Following heavy rain, part of the A4183 Oxford Road, between the Westwood Hotel and Bagley Wood Sawmill, began to slide away into Bagley Wood.
The landslide and the consequent closure of the road was reported in the national and local press – see for instance Daily Express, The Times, Oxford Mail and ITV’s Meridian Tonight.
