Highways England have contacted the Parish Council about weekend closures from May to August 2015.
The dates affected are:
- Friday 8th to Monday 11th May
- Friday 29th May to Monday 1st June
- Friday 5th to Monday 8th June
- Friday 12th to Monday 15th June – CANCELLED
- Friday 19th to Monday 22nd June
- Friday 10th to Monday 13th July
- Friday 17th to Monday 20th July
- Friday 31st July to Monday 3rd August – CANCELLED
- Friday 7th to Monday 10 August – CANCELLED
Movement at the junction will be restricted as follows:
Full weekend (9pm Friday through to 5.30am Monday) – the gyratory sections directly
below the M4 bridges and the A34 north and southbound approaches to the junction will
be closed
- Traffic will only be able to travel from the M4 westbound to the A34 southbound and from
the M4 eastbound to the A34 northbound - Traffic will not be able to travel M4 westbound to A34 northbound, M4 eastbound to A34
southbound, A34 northbound to M4 east and westbound, and A34 southbound to M4 east
and westbound
Weekend nights (9pm to 5.30am) – the M4 east and westbound carriageways, between
the slip roads, will only be closed overnight. The M4 will remain open during day-time hours
(5.30am to 9pm).
