This year the council decided to purchase a bigger Christmas tree together with new lights – something that the residents of Kennington could be proud of – the results speak for themselves. The council has received lots of comments on how wonderful the tree is this year, some saying it’s the best ever. Thanks must go to the lads from Lynch Brothers Homes, who volunteered to erect the council’s tree and also put the new Christmas lights on it too. Councillors very much hope they will be around to assist next year.
