I am writing to invite you to respond to our consultation on the channel options for the Oxford Flood Alleviation Scheme. The consultation will run from Tuesday 19 January until 1 March.
Together with our partners, we will be holding 5 drop-in events across Oxford to give you the opportunity to have your say on a series of options for the proposed flood relief channel. The team have developed the options based on their investigations and feedback from the last series of public events held in Summer 2015.
The events will be held between 2.30 and 7.00 on the following dates:

| Friday January 22 | South Oxford Community Centre, OX1 4RP |
| Wednesday January 27 | Kennington Village Centre, OX1 5PG |
| Thursday January 28 | West Oxford Community Centre, OX2 0BT |
Members of the project team and partners will be available to answer any questions or discuss anything about the scheme.
You will also be able to respond online via our consultation portal https://consult.environment-agency.gov.uk/portal between 19 January and 1 March.
The consultation will ask you to indicate your preferred and least preferred options, as well as getting your feedback on the scheme as a whole and other related issues such as funding and materials management.
