The Annual Parish Council meeting took place in May, and Colin Charlett and Alan Cobb will continue their positions as Chairman and Vice-Chairman, respectively.
A deep cleanse of Kennington took place during May, which involved cleaning and removing weeds from pavements which required the most attention.
The results of the speed counters have been analysed, and show that the majority of people are keeping to the speed limit. It was noted that the Northbound traffic through the village has increased significantly since the last survey in 2014.
