Potholes
The recent repairs along Kennington Road have now been completed, and further repairs have been timetabled for the future. The best way to report potholes to Oxfordshire County Council is on Fix My Street (fixmystreet.oxfordshire.gov.uk). Alternatively, you can email or call 08453 1011111.
Best Kept Garden Competition
The Best Kept Garden competition will be running again this year, with judging taking place on 13 and 14 July. There is no need to enter – all front gardens will be judged from the road.
Grants At its February meeting, the council granted £90 to Kennington Strollers to support their walks in summer 2018. A grant of £200 was awarded to 1st Kennington Guides to support their participation in the Abingdon Division Guides trip to Switzerland in August 2018. The council also granted £200 to Kennington Youth Club, which has recently re-opened.
