Parish News – September 2018

Litter Pick – Thank you to everyone who helped with the litter pick at the beginning of July – it was amazing how much rubbish was collected in a couple of hours. We are planning to hold another litter pick in the autumn – look out for details in the Chronicle and on Kennington Connected.

Grants – The parish council awarded a grant of £25 to Clean Slate at the July meeting, towards their work with victims of abuse. A grant of £100 was awarded to Kennington Good Neighbours to help with the cost of their 50 year celebration tea party.

New email addresses – In line with the new data protection regulations, parish councillors have been set up with new email addresses. Please see the website for more details.

Play area repairs – Unfortunately, the basket swing at The Links play area, and the scramble net at Forest Side were damaged before the summer holidays. They are due to be repaired in the next few weeks.
