The council hopes you will join them for the Act of Remembrance on Sunday 12 November – please assemble at the War Memorial by 10.45am.
You will find there is a copy of the new Order of Service in the middle of November’s Kennington Chronicle – it is hoped that residents will bring it with them when they join us on 12 November. There is a copy of this Service below.
The Village Centre will be open for those in the Parade to meet – with teas and coffees as usual available before the Parade.
A warm invitation is extended to everyone to join Apple Café in the Church Hall for a free cup of coffee/tea and piece of cake after the Remembrance Parade and Service. Many thanks go to Apple Café for arranging this.
There will also be a display telling you more of those servicemen that will be commemorated at the service in the Church Hall.
