There will be works to:
- Improve the kerbs on The Avenue, Kennington from Tuesday 1st April and Friday 4th April
- resurface the road between the junction of St Swithun’s Road, and Bagley Wood Road / Kennington Road junction will take place between Monday 7th – Friday 11th April
During the first week (1st – 4th April) there will be temporary lights and there will be a temporary bus stop as the St Swithun’s School bus stop will not be in use.
During the second week (7th – 14th April) the road will be closed between St Swithun’s Road and Bagley Wood Road /Kennington Road junction during the hours of 0930 and 1930). During these hours there will be no buses running through the village. The buses from Oxford will be diverted around Oxford Road, into Bagley Wood Road and onto St Swithun’s Road, with the buses to Oxford taking the same diversion onto the Abingdon Road.
