The Parish Council has had the following response to to its request for information about the ongoing situation in Bagley Wood Road:
Dear Ms Feather
Please accept my apologies with respect to the delay associated with this scheme.
The work is a priority, however it has taken some time to determine the detail associated with the repair, in particular the drainage requirements in order that the repair work is not compromised in the future.
Unfortunately this has meant that the original planned construction date has slipped. We are progressing the solution as a matter of urgency and very conscious of trying to avoid the wetter months. However at this stage I would suggest that at construction date in October is looking most likely.
I understand Vanessa Buckley has been keeping you informed and I will ask her to continue to keep you up to date as the construction date and methodology are confirmed.
I will contact you again as soon as the firm start and finish dates are established.
