No water or low pressure

Information from Thames Water – Last updated: 23/03 12:52

“We’re very sorry if you’ve got low pressure or no water as a result of a burst main on Harcourt Hill, North Hinksey.

We’ve now opened a drive-through bottled water station at The Bystander pub, in Besselsleigh Road, Wootton OX13 6DN, where you can collect the supplies you need.

We’ll load the water into your vehicle, so you won’t need to get out of your car – we’ve got it covered.

The water is for essential use, like drinking, cooking and washing. Please be considerate and don’t take more than you need. If you have a neighbour who’s unable to get to a water station, please let us know and we’ll do our best to make sure our limited supplies are fairly handed out.

Our engineers are continuing their work to get things back to normal as soon as possible.

Where possible we’ve brought water into the local pipe network from other parts of our supply system, which has helped limit the impact. We’re continuing to look at what else we can do to improve the situation.

We know this has happened at a difficult time. We’ve answered the most common customer questions about coronavirus, including how we can provide extra help to those who need it most.”
